For greater indoor comfort and hygiene, Grillodur^® rooflights can feature an insect protection system.

Grilludur^® Insect Protection System

Where hygiene is particularly critical, such as for food processing and the Pharmaceutical industries, the Grillodur^® insect protection system flaps help to keep out insects, particulates and other debris.
The system comprises of high-quality weather-resistent fibreglass fabric. It is compatible with the venting and SHEV flaps of Grillodur^® rooflights, and has no effect on the aerodynamic exhaust surface area (Aa-value).
It can also be used in conjunction with the Grillodur^® DSG fall-through protection system.

Thermal performance and lighting properties

The combination of fibreglass sheet colour (natural, blue white and grey translucent), sheet thickness and density of the spun glass insulation core can deliver a wide range of daylighting and thermal performance.
